Challenge

A company in the child nutrition segment needed to understand how mothers and children perceive powdered nutritional supplements, covering both users of the product under evaluation and consumers of competing brands.

The challenge involved reaching nutritionally engaged mothers responsible for infant formula purchase decisions, along with their children aged 4 to 7. Beyond the consumption profile, the study had to consider families concerned with their children’s diet and growth, ensuring participants who did not reject vanilla flavor and were able to taste the products during the research.

The dynamic also required a structure suited to the joint participation of mother and child, with the survey administered individually on tablets and three products tested, including preparation of the supplements by the field team.

Methodology applied

  • Recruitment and pairing of mothers and children according to the criteria defined in the screener
