Perceptions of teenage cereal consumers
Every project we run is covered by confidentiality agreements. That is why this page describes the method, scope and deliverables, but does not identify the client, brand, product or date.
Challenge
A company in the food segment needed to understand the perceptions of teenage cereal consumers in the Brazilian market.
The challenge was to reach a specific audience made up exclusively of teenagers aged 15 to 17 who consumed cereal, ensuring the participation of both male and female respondents without specific gender quotas. The research had to be conducted online, with objective interviews and a recruitment operation suited to the defined profile.
Beyond collecting responses, the study incorporated a behavioral dimension: all participants had to authorize camera use during the survey, allowing emotions and facial expressions to be measured throughout the experience.
Methodology applied
- Recruitment of teenagers aged 15 to 17 who consume cereal
- Online interviews lasting 15 minutes
- Application of the recruitment screener according to the criteria defined for the study
- Nationwide fieldwork
- Project management, including setup, recruitment and incentives
- Translation of the screener material used in the research
- Guidance for participants on the technical requirements for taking part via computer
- Data collection with camera authorization for measuring emotions and facial expressions
